Matomo
Our website uses "Matomo" (formerly "Piwik"), a web analytics service provided by InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand.

We use Matomo without cookies to analyse your use of our website (JavaScript calls Matomo with the “disableCookies” setting). The information collected in this way is stored exclusively on our servers, specifically, the following data:

• two bytes of the IP address of the user’s system
• the webpage accessed
• the website from which the user accessed the webpage (referrer)
• the subpages accessed from the webpage
• the length of time spent on the website
• the frequency with which the website is accessed

Our website uses Matomo with the setting ‘Anonymise visitors’ IP addresses’. As a result, IP addresses are processed in truncated form, thereby ruling out any direct association with specific individuals. The software is configured so that IP addresses are not stored in full; instead, 2 bytes of the IP address are masked (e.g. 192.168.xxx.xxx). In this way, it is no longer possible to link the truncated IP address to the computer making the request. The IP address transmitted from your browser via Matomo is not combined with any other data we collect.
 

Server log files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are

• Browser type and browser version
• Operating system used
• Referrer URL
• Host name of the accessing computer
• Time of the server enquiry
• IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

 

Your rights
You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, cancellation and objection regarding your data stored by us. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with us or the data protection authority.

 

SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line.
